The Master Pickles and Wacky Stackers competed at Clarkson University this past Saturday as part of the First Lego League Challenge Regional Championship. The Master Pickles took FIRST place in the robot game, with a high score of 230 while the Wacky Stackers earned THIRD place, with a high score of 190, out of 20 total teams! Fantastic work Falcons!
Congratulations to both of our Odyssey of the Mind teams and coach Mrs. Monks! Our 7th and 8th grade team took first place and is heading to states and our 5th and 6th grade team took 2nd!!
Out of 170 photos from 18 different schools, the Lake Placid Institute selected 28 photos to be featured for their 24-Hour Photo Contest. Six of those photos were taken by our South Lewis High School students who are the 2024 WINNERS of Lake Placid Institute's "24 Hours: A Photographic Interpretation of Life in the Adirondacks" show! Congratulations to DeLana, McKenna, Jenna, Tyler, Elyse, and Hannah!

December's High School Students of the Month - Christopher C. and Rhys S. The December character trait was the Golden Rule - these students displayed this by treating others the way they would want to be treated.

Isaac (#20) and Matt (#18) were selected to play in the "Mohawk Valley/Will Smith Senior Memorial Senior Bowl" presented by the National Football Foundation last Thursday held at VVS High School. They competed with and against the top seniors in the Mohawk Valley and in Section 3. Congratulations and thank you for representing South Lewis through your hard work and dedication.
