Also enjoying big wins from this past weekend are two senior wrestlers. Shown here with their fathers are Branton Carpenter (#152 class champ) and Cody Greene (#138 class champ). So proud of both! Good luck to them as they look to knock down Section III titles this weekend.


Congratulations to the boys' 4x800 indoor track team of Noah Edick, Brayden Poste, Collin Stafford, and Shane Sweredoski for chasing down a Section III win on Saturday. Way to fly, fellas. That is TEAMWORK at its Falcon best.


This past weekend, some Falcon athletes enjoyed success as SECTION III winners.
In the indoor track & field arena, the girls brought home a TEAM title, and Lexi Bernard, Hannah Ielfield, & the 4x800 relay team (Brynn Bernard, Mallory Kraeger, Chloe Seller & Aaliyah Williams) were individual champs!


Due to weather conditions South Lewis CSD will be closed today - Friday, February 7, 2020. Have a fun and safe weekend.

South Lewis CSD will be dismissing early today - Thursday, February 6th. MS/HS will dismiss at 12:45pm and Elementary at 1:15pm. There will be no afternoon UPK. Morning UPK students will be dismissed at 1:15pm with the other elementary students.

Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball Team for the win over the Herkimer Magicians last night. The ladies had a little birdie magic of their own as they conjured up the win in 3 sets. Thursday night the team continues sectional play against Beaver River. Whoop! Whoop!


The students in Mrs. Markham’s after school enrichment program made Bioplastic from Corn during last night’s session.

Today we wrapped up the One District, One Book Program at the elementary schools! Students got to meet Mr. & Mrs. VanRiper, author and illustrator of The Adirondack Kids books. We thank all of our students, educators, and families for their participation in this program!



Say "CHEESE"! Mrs. Vargo, home & careers maven, shares her kitchen tips with middle & high school students as they put together some tasty, nutrient dense Quesadillas in room 112. It 's a snack that satisfies!




The closing assembly took place today at Port Leyden Elementary for our One District, One Book Program. Great job to all of our students, educators, and families.





Mr. Scott Cihocki visited the Glenfield LEGO League on Monday. He showed them practical use for legos, talked about making durable buildings, inventing, and thinking outside the box. The kids took apart and built part of building forms.
