Lets Respect Each Other Treat others the way you want to be treated Exhibit a positive attitude Book Check-Out Rules: K-2 Grade: Allowed to take out TWO book per week. 3-5 Grade: Allowed to take out THREE books per week. Books are due 7 days from the day they were checked out and they may be renewed 2 times. We allow only 2 renewals because there may be other students waiting for the book. If the student has 1 overdue book they will not be allowed to check another book out until the overdue book is returned or renewed. If a book is lost or damaged we may require the student to pay for it. If the book is lost but then found again they will be reimbursed. All students may check out a book at any time during the week as long as the librarian or library aides are present.
Magazine Borrowing (Grades 3-5 only)
Only ONE Magazine may go out with a student at a time with a Ziploc bag. Magazines are due back in the library one week after they are taken out. The newest issue of a magazine is for in-library use only. Please report any loss or damage to the magazines to the library as soon as possible.
Reference/Technology Materials (Faculty Only)
Reference materials include encyclopedias, dictionaries & atlases. Technology items include laptops, camera and video recorders. They can be signed out by teachers for classroom use, used in the library or with the permission of the librarian can be taken home for research and projects. |
