HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

What is "A&P"? 

Anatomy and Physiology is a LOCAL, non-Regents course intended for students who may some day pursue a career in the medical field or have a genuine interst in the human body. Students will, thorugh lecture, bookwork, and laboratory, obtain a better understanding of the inner workings of the human body, how it is constructed, and how it functions. 

Students and parents must understand that although the abbreviation is similar, Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) is NOT an Advanced Placement (AP) course !!

The textbook is "Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology" by Elaine marieb.  Students can access online assistance at www.anatomyandphysiology.com.
